September 18 marks the day of the next Reach the Beach faceoff between NBB's RTB team and the Hello Kitty Athletic Club (HKAC).
In 2007, NBB lost by 32 minutes over a 24 hour race. In 2008, NBB won by 6 minutes - with a co-ed team against an all-male team.
A video-texting scrimmage was setup at New Balance World Headquarters in Brighton, MA. It was just a preview of the carnage to be expected on the relay race course.
Stay tuned for the link to the video coverage and evidence.
HKAC took photos of the event. (Visit HKAC)
Dear NBB,
ReplyDeleteHave you taken a close look at HKAC's roster?!?!?!? I think you haven't because if you had you may have noticed that at least 7 and possibly 9 (depending on the day) of the HKAC Squad are in fact FEMALE!!! In fact I'm almost certain that all HKAC members that visited said "smack down" at NB headquarters were in fact of the "female" persuasion. Yvonne is obviously in need of some glasses and Gaffer 2000 of the HKAC squad is in need of some serious bikini waxing. Seriously...
Sincerely,
Senor C.H. Hugglesworth-
Asst. to the Asst. to the Team Captain of Team Spirit Van #2 HKAC and Head Substance Control of RTB Estrogen levels Police
Well, that does make sense. I have heard that female felines tend to have more fur than their male counterparts.
ReplyDeleteShaving down a cat's fur helps with the body heat control. Maybe that'll help your "women" run faster than ours.
